On March 25, workers hoisted the last beam into place on the Perry and Marty Granoff Center for the Creative Arts. The 35,000-square foot building, which will be sheathed in glass, will contain a 200-seat recital hall, three production spaces, a recording studio, and a physical-media lab for robotics and physical computing. Students and faculty were allowed to sign the beam before it was placed in position. Construction is expected to be finished by next spring.
