It took Long Island champion Rowe Hessler an average of 11.04 seconds to solve a Rubik's Cube at the December 12 competition sponsored by the Brown Cubing Club. Looking on is event organizer Arthur Adams '12. Thirty-two entrants competed before a delegate of the World Cubing Association.
