On April 16, a lucky group of Brown voice students got to be backup singers for Kristin Chenoweth for the night. The Academy Award and Tony Award–winning star (best known for her roles in Wicked and Glee) was in town for a Providence Performing Arts Center fund-raising gig that featured the Providence Philharmonic. The tunes included some Jerome Kern and Leonard Bernstein, along with a taste of Wicked.
