On November 16 students on campus took notes in classes and attended lectures like “The ‘Principle’ of Insufficient Reason: Immediate Heidegger.” But then the sun went down. The Brown Salsa Club put out the word: “Hips Required, Experience Is Not,” and beginning at 9 p.m. the Crystal Room in Alumnae Hall shook with the sounds of Salsa Night, a social for Brown and what the club calls “the greater Salsa Community.” Town-gown relations indeed!
