The March/April issue was a great one. As a grizzled Brit I’m not normally one to dole out unstinting praise, so consider this kudos hard-won. The cover story on danah boyd was fascinating, as was the piece on Malcolm X’s 1961 campus appearance. Keep it up!

I finally took a good look at the BAM last week, now a proper alum, and couldn’t help but notice that there didn’t seem to be a crossword. There are so many talented crossword constructors in the classes of 2010, 2012, and 2013 (at least). I understand if not having a crossword was deliberate, but otherwise, wouldn’t it be nice to have one?

As the economics of print publishing have forced the BAM to cut pages in recent years, we can no longer justify dedicating a page to a crossword.
