New Music

July 15th, 2011

Thanks for the great story on The Low Anthem ("Hey, All You Hippies," Arts & Culture, May/June). I don't listen to new music much; in my mind it's all either hip hop, techno or sugary pop, and I get bored pretty easily. But I was intrigued by Ed Hardy's story, and then was captivated by what I heard on iTunes. I was even more impressed by the band's songs and stories on NPR. In fact, they might be the best Brown band since Benefit Street—waaaay back in the day.
