May 15, 1926, proved a charm for the Bears. After starting the season with dismal losses to Dartmouth, Yale, and New Hampshire State, Brown played an errorless game, defeating Providence College 2–0, when rain put an end to the game after six innings. Notes on the back of this photograph read, "McDonald scores first run. He tripled and scored on Gurney's triple." Can anyone tell us more?
