I read with sadness of the passing of Professor Constantine Mylonas (Obituaries, January/February). His freshman engineering class was extremely well taught, and laid the basis for an interesting and enjoyable career. I learned from his obituary that he fought the Nazis when they invaded his homeland of Greece during World War II. Perhaps that is why it seemed to me that he had a serious demeanor.
