Your article on Brian '81 and Patrick Moynihan '87 was very insightful and revealing. It says a lot about the value of a Brown education, and about the family values instilled by their parents.

There is another Brown connection in their story. I was dean of the College when Brian was admitted in 1977, and I was chairman of the board of Bank of America when we selected him as CEO. Brown's tentacles stretch far and wide.
