Excitement was high on April 3, when the men's lacrosse team
entered Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts, for the New England
Lacrosse Classic. ESPN had declared the Bears a team to watch, and
there was even talk of a national championship, but the squad fell to
Princeton, 9–7. By early May the team had rebounded enough to qualify
for the Ivy League Playoffs.
