You heard them here first. Last semester the twenty-five students in
the songwriting course Music 450 produced a two-cd collection of
original music. The songs defy easy categorization.
Anna Aufseeser
'09 described her song "Cracks" as "OpNiPop" (Optimistic Nihilistic Pop
music). "It's a fast-paced, funky danceable tune with creepy minor
chord progressions and lots of black keys," she wrote in the liner
