While reading the March/April 2008 issue of the Brown Alumni Magazine, I couldn't help but be struck by the imbalance and dearth of political and cultural opinions save that of liberalism.
From articles about Angela Davis, Lincoln Chafee '75, and Glenn Loury one can only despair for America. When will we see the words of Thomas Sowell, Ward Connelly, Clarence Thomas, et al? Professor Loury might well profit from a study of Thomas Sowell's work in general and his Economic Facts and Fallacies specifically.
For an institution that proclaims diversity, very little, if any, is evident in the alumni magazine.
