[Religion] As Myanmar’s military junta cracked down violently on protesters in September, students offered support for the dissidents. A month later members of the U.S. Campaign for Burma joined in a meditation session led by a Burmese monk, who also pleaded for nonviolence in his country. The students hoped the event would raise campus awareness of the situation.
