Men’s basketball guard Jason Forte ’05 was named Ivy League Player of the Year and Associated Press All-American.… Women’s water polo beat Harvard, 9–2, on April 18 to win the Northeastern Championships.… Men’s golf finished eighth in the Ivy Championships.… Men’s swimming took seventh at the Interscholastic Swimming League Championships, while the women took fourth at the Ivy Championships…. Wrestlers David Dies ’04 and Nick Ciarcia ’04 finished in the top twelve at the NCAA Tournament in St. Louis in late March, narrowly missing All-American honors.… After a strong season, women’s skiing finished a disappointing sixth at the USCSA National Championships in Sugarloaf, Maine.… Undefeated men’s tennis topped Harvard at Brown on April 23 to capture the Ivy crown.… Star outfielder Matt Kutler ’04, who was profiled in the March/April BAM, tore ligaments in his right hand in early March, putting him out of action for the season in a setback both for the baseball team and for Kutler’s aspirations for a major league contract.
