Winter Light

The snow seemed to go on forever. More than forty inches fell in January, and as February neared its end, there was talk that this might be the snowiest winter ever. Classes were canceled not once but twice, prompting some early semester academic scrambling. One evening, our photographer launched a camera-laden drone for a more serene look, the perspective of a migrating bird, perhaps, or a Romantic painter.
