Skier Kia Mosenthal ’12 took the U.S. Collegiate Ski and Snowboard Association national title in the slalom and helped Brown capture the slalom team title.… Tommy Glenn ’14 earned All-America honorable mention after finishing thirteenth in the 200 butterfly at the 2012 NCAA Division I Swimming and Diving Championships.… After sending a program-high six fencers to the NCAA Division I Championship, the Brown fencing team finished thirteenth for the second consecutive season.… Women’s squash won the Kurtz Cup at the Women’s Team National Championship and finished ninth nationally.… Women’s basketball coach Jean Marie Burr captured her 300th career win, defeating Dartmouth, 74–50.… At the 2012 Ivy League Heptagonal Championships, John Spooney ’14 set a new school record in the sixty-meter dash with a time of 6.79 seconds and Peter Rhodes ’15 set a school record of 4,943 points in the heptathlon. On the women’s side, Heidi Caldwell ’14 won the 5,000-meter run.… Dave Foxen ’12 won the 174-pound weight class at the EIWA Championships as an unseeded wrestler, something that had not been done since 1963.… Matt Sullivan ’13 was named to the Capital One Academic All-America men’s basketball third team, while Hannah Passafuime ’12 was named to the Capital One Academic All-District women’s basketball first team.
